How to inspect and remove image metadata

What gets removed?
Photos may contain EXIF, XMP or IPTC fields such as camera model, capture time, author, software history and precise GPS coordinates. AIPics removes the corresponding JPEG segments, PNG chunks or WebP chunks without decoding and recompressing the image pixels.

Does this remove GPS location?
Yes. JPEG can remove GPS only; PNG and WebP use complete metadata cleaning because selective rewriting is not consistently supported.
Does cleaning metadata change the image?
No. Supported JPEG, PNG and WebP metadata blocks are removed without recompressing the encoded image pixels.
Can metadata be restored afterward?
Not from the cleaned download. Keep the original if you need the camera details later.
